HECM Lenders – September 2025

HECM endorsements rose 7.2% in September to 2,211 loans, bouncing back from a weak August total.

The regions were generally higher, with 6 of the 10 showing gains:

  • Southwest jumped 19.7% to 219 loans
  • Rocky Mountain rose 13.9% to 189 loans
  • Southeast/Caribbean added 10% to 482 loans

The top 10 lenders matched that geographic performance, with 6 adding volume on the month:

  • Guild bounced recovered 81.6% to 69 loans
  • South River bounced back 44.4% to 78 loans
  • Longbridge gained 19.3% to 365 loans
